Hartung Brothers, Inc. has two main production growing areas:  Ohio, and Texas.  HBI grows their cucumbers from seed.  HBI contracts with area farmers to grow their cucumbers.  HBI, along with the Grower's eye, scout the fields daily to reassure that they are growing healthy cucumbers.  Once they are ready for harvest, HBI does the custom harvesting, washing and sorting of the cucumbers to get ready to be shipped to the processors.  Many are then made into pickles.
