Hartung Brothers, Inc.'s main seed corn production areas are in Wisconsin and Illinois.  HBI does the planting of the seed corn.  Our fields are 100% irrigated and rotated yearly.  Seed Corn has male and female rows. Seed corn requires roguing and detasseling.  The HBI fields are scouted on a regular basis to make sure they are growing a healthy crop. 

Once the seed corn is harvested,  H & N Logistics, LLC is responsible for the transferring of the seed corn to our local seed plants - Madison, WI and Muncie, IL.  It is then dried and bagged.  The seed corn is sold wholesale or bagged to be planted as field corn.
