Hartung Brothers, Inc.

Hartung Brothers, Inc. has three main production growing areas:  Ohio, Texas and Oregon .  HBI grows their cucumbers from seed.  HBI contracts with area farmers to grow their cucumbers.  HBI, along with the Grower's eye, scout the fields daily to reassure that they are growing healthy cucumbers.  Once they are ready for harvest, HBI does the custom harvesting, washing and sorting of the cucumbers to get ready to be shipped to the processors.  Many are then made into pickles.

Our Mt. Vernon, Washington facility is a cucumber receiving station.  HBI's Portland, OR facility is a grading and tanking facility for cucumbers.  HBI's newest cucumber grading facility and tankyard is in Bowling Green, OH.
